A shaggy-dog noir where the mystery barely matters and every scene is quotable. It plays even better on a rewatch, when you can stop following the plot and just hang out.

Keep the snacks low-effort. The Dude abides; so should your kitchen.

Make it

White Russian (a.k.a. a Caucasian)

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half

Build the vodka and coffee liqueur over ice in a rocks glass, then float the cream on top. Stirring is optional. So is pants.
