About
Sofa and Remote is a running list of TV shows and movies I've watched, each paired with one drink and one food to have on the couch while watching.
The pairing is the point. Reviews stay short. Ratings are my own, out of 10, and they decide the order you see things in when you browse.
How pairings are picked
Theme first, mood as a fallback. Every drink and food gets one of four labels, and the two don't have to match.
- Canon
What the characters actually drink or eat on screen.
- Setting
From the show's location, era, or culture.
- Character & theme
Embodies a character or the show's big idea.
- Vibe
Matches the tone and mood.
